We have experience in multiple fields of business: automotive, plumbing, HVAC, movie production, Comedy Improv, and more. But the truth is this, and the question we need to ask you before we know we can help you or not is this:
Are you willing to do things in ways that no one else is willing to do them?
If this is the case, we can help you. We find that those who play the game and follow rules written by others tend to lose. And we don’t like losing.
One area, however, that we really excel in is the wedding venue landscape. Probably because we opened one, The Brim, and wrote new rules for the game. Other venue owners and hopefuls began to call and ask for advice. So we’ve made ourselves available to do just that.
Who Is Not a Good Fit:
The truth is, we’re picky about the businesses we partner with long-term. Sure, we can spend a day together; we are always open to the one-hour free getting to know you session. But in order for us to commit to a long-term relationship with you, we have to see potential.
The model we use, where our growth is tied to yours, allows for nothing less than choosing those we are willing to partner with wisely.
We admit, it is hard to put a thumb on all the exact attributes we are looking for in a business owner. But here are a few that we can quantify:
- You are committed. We aren’t talking lip-service committed. We can see that you have already taken steps on your adventure that prove how committed you are. Your commitment is unmistakable and unwavering, one that does not flinch. We believe the world conspires to help those that are committed.
- The culture of your business is alive and healthy. People love working for you. If we sense you have a hard time retaining “good help” it makes us woozy. Labor forces are the lowest they have been in decades and that isn’t going to change. And no, it’s not because people are staying home being lazy.
- You are operationally efficient. You understand what a powerful message being told to the masses does, right? If your operations are poor, close rates low, call centers crashing, jobs done poorly, everyone talking poorly of you on Google, X Y Z we can’t help you. Sure, we have partners and the ability to guide in these areas as we grow, but if you aren’t currently doing them well, your weaknesses will be exploited when the masses begin to know who you are.
- You have complete authority to make all the decisions pertaining to your business. We do not work with your second in command or your marketing cousin. They can be involved, but we answer to you and only to you. If we sense you aren’t willing to have that relationship with us, we won’t be able to work together.
